Horizon Logistics Park – Admin Office EV Charging Hub
Carra installs discreet ABL EV charging units for Horizon Logistics Park’s administration hub
Horizon Logistics Park required a compact and visually unobtrusive electric vehicle charging solution for its administration building. The site needed a set of EV chargers capable of supporting several vehicles at once, while still blending into the surrounding architecture. Carra delivered a tailored installation using ABL’s eMH3 units, providing reliable 22 kW charging backed by a modern management platform.
The Challenge
The logistics park set out to:
Conventional pedestal chargers often have a large footprint, which would have created an unwanted visual impact.
Carra’s Solution
Selection of appropriate EV chargers
Carra sourced the ABL eMH3 charger, a 22 kW AC unit that offers a slim, compact design. The units were installed on slender poles to reduce visual impact and maintain a clean aesthetic around the building.

Electrical and commissioning works
- Each charger was cabled for power.
- Units were commissioned and added to the customer’s back-office environment.
- Load balancing and power management were configured to suit the site’s demand.
Back-office and payment platform
Carra works with Monta, a European CPO platform providing:
- Remote EV charger management
- 24/7 driver support
- Mobile-based activation via QR code
- Automated revenue settlement on a monthly basis
Drivers can either register on the Monta app or start a charge using the QR code at the unit.
